About us

Where is Centre Récréatif SMI and is they’re parking available?

Centre Récréatif SMI is located at 4440A boul. Samson. It can be found on the top floor of the building and the door is accessible by Promenade des Iles. As for parking, there is a lot that is available for your use.

How accessible is the building?

The building is completely accessible. There are ramps outdoors and an elevator inside and you will also have access to a trolley.

Do you have any water fountains?

Yes we do, and you will have access to the kitchenette, which includes both a fridge and sink.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office hours are from 8am to 6pm. Reservations for events are open and can range from 6am to midnight.

Registration & Services

How do I make a reservation for SMI?

You can either call or email to make an appointment to come in to speak about your booking. Prior to booking a date we will meet to finalize any equipment renting or other miscellaneous items that we offer. During that appointment we will finalize date and cost.

What is the cost of renting the area?

Depends on the package you take and for how many hours. Package 1 is 80$ for one hour. Package 2 is $160 for 2 hours and $80 for each additional hour.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and e-transfers.

Are we allowed to bring food to eat in the Gym?

Yes, you can bring food from home.

Do you offer any decorations and supplies?

Yes, we have a variety of different items available for rental and use. Details can be discussed during the appointment when made.

Can I bring alcohol or beers to the party?

Yes, however a permit must be submitted and will be an additional cost. The permit must be submitted 2 weeks in advance by the client.

Are there any rules for the Gym?

While in the recreation center there will be two areas available for your use: the gym area and the party room. We ask that while in the gym area that you wear indoor shoes- this also means heels or any sort of pointed shoes are prohibited.

Can I cancel or transfer after I have registered for a specific date?

You are able to cancel at anytime, but once you have cancelled your deposit will be lost. Transferring your event to another date will only be an option depending on availability.

Is there an outdoor area that can be used?

Yes, there is an outdoor play area on the main floor when you enter the building. On the second floor, you will find the gym area.
